Chin Chin

Chin Chin snacks is a homemade American sweet pastry snack made from wheat flour. It is a cookie biscuit that is fried, not baked. Our Chin Chin is crunchy but soft and melts in your mouth. It is similar to the Scandinavian snack called “klenat”, a crunchy, donut-like baked or fried dough of wheat flour, and other customary baking items. It is also a popular West African dessert common in countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, and Ghana. Its recipe also comes with ground nutmeg for flavor. The dough is usually kneaded and cut into small one-inch (or so) squares, about a quarter of an inch thick, before frying. It is so tasty and delicious that you will ask for more. It comes in different aluminum window-like foil in different packs.

This product comes in regular nutmeg ‘chin chin’ and coconut ‘chin chin’.  We use real coconut for our coconut ‘chin chin’ and NOT flavor.

Meat Pie

Meat pies with fillings such as steak, cheese, steak and kidney, minced beef, or chicken and mushroom are popular in the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and Nigeria as take-away snacks. They are also served with chips as an alternative to fish and chips at British chip shops. The Cornish pasty, which so admirably comprises a dinner in itself—meat, potatoes, and other good things well cooked and made up into so portable a form—was a subject of much admiration and reminded me of the old coaching days. Cornish pasties are very popular with the working classes in this neighborhood and have lately been successfully introduced into some parts of Devonshire. They are made of small pieces of beef, and thin slices of potatoes, highly peppered and enclosed in wrappers of paste.

French Beignets

Alongside crêpes and waffles, French beignets are part of the most famous dishes prepared in France for the occasion of Mardi-Gras or Carnival. The pastry usually consists of deep-fried dough and is a sort of doughnut.  Beignets originate from France and, depending on the region, can be prepared in many ways. Hence, they have different names: bugnes, merveilles, oreillettes, corchevets, vautes, etc.  In Alsace alone, there are several varieties of beignets, including Fasenachtskiechle (similar to Berliners) and Schenkeles.

Sausage Rolls

A sausage roll is a British savory pastry snack, popular in Commonwealth nations and beyond. They are sold at retail outlets and are also available from bakeries as a take-away food. A miniature version can be served as buffet or party food.The basic composition of a sausage roll is sheets of puff pastry formed into tubes around sausage meat and glazed with egg or milk before being baked. They can be served either hot or cold. In the 19th century, they were made using short-crust pastry instead of puff pastry.

A Scotch egg consists of a hard or soft-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in bread crumbs and baked or deep-fried. Our signature is in the type of wrapped sausage meat we use. There are no preservatives or artificial flavors in our scotch eggs. To preserve the quality, our scotch eggs are shipped in vacuum sealed packs.
